Experiencing diet stalling? It could be a common diet mistake — we all make them. Here is a tiny content that will allow you to maintain diet without damage. A diet does not has to be simple no matter how pure your intentions are, you’d still be a victim of bad eating habit.

Here are the four common dieting mistakes we all make:

Gluten-Free Does Not Always Mean Low Calories: Stripping grains like wheat from foods allow high calories sugars and oils to get in them. This happens a lot with the processed gluten-free foods. Therefore, before buying a processed food with a gluten-free label, make sure you review its nutrition facts to assure you ingest the right food. Nevertheless, prepare a gluten-free food with the most natural way to get the best result. Whole foods that are natural gluten-free include quinoa, teff, amaranth and buckwheat.

Don’t go Overboard on Fruits: Keep in mind that eating fruit is only healthy during dieting when it is in moderation. Despite the fact that most fruits are low on the glycemic index, there are still many fruits that are very high and are the reason behind blood sugar and hunger hormonal changes. Fruits with high fiber content are great but you cannot trust every fruit while dieting. Most fruits do promote weight gain and add more to your bloated-ness. Eat fruits like pears and apples and make sure you eat less melons, dried fruits and pineapples — due to them being high on glycemic index.

Don’t rely too Much on Protein Bars: Consuming protein is a healthy thing to do while dieting — it really adds muscles and tones the body. Keeps you full and active, however, we are getting more than enough protein every day. Protein bars and snacks add more into our daily protein intake but also add more sugar, fat and calories into your diet. Replace protein bars with bean chips because they have more fiber and fewer calories.

Juices are not that low in calories: When we are dieting, we often end up drinking more juice by replacing soda. However, it is one of the common mistakes that add more to our weight. Juices are swapped with soda because we are craving for sweetness while dieting but it is important to know that a glass of juice is loaded with sugars. Therefore you need to drink water with fruit slices in it to get both flavor and fewer calories as compared to a regular juice.
